SERIGNE MOR GUEYE (SMG)

Sculpture is a long-standing childhood love affair, as Mor "fell into it as a child". After dropping out of secondary school, he began a playful apprenticeship in creativity, using materials available in his immediate environment. Mor then entered technical training with Tafsir Momar Gueye.

 But when he moved to the Village des Arts in Dakar, his work took off even more intensely, in a setting even more conducive to creation and synergy, in a space dedicated to the production and confrontation of different, complementary or cross-disciplinary artistic practices. 

And so, from 2001 to the present day, his reputation has grown, both nationally and internationally.
