THÉO NGOM

Théodore Félix Ngom is a Senegalese painter, watercolorist and sculptor. Self-taught, he is recognized today for his sense of detail and gestural expression in his works.

A devotee of beauty, the artist depicted many Senegalese historical scenes in his early works. Then everyday life and emblematic cultural figures invaded his works. The story of his artistic creation shows a back-and-forth between moving techniques and the desire to detail characters and landscapes in a lively, figurative style. 

Since 1996, Théo Ngom has exhibited widely in leading galleries nationwide. The "Portraits de Champions" exhibition in 2017 marks the maturity of his work, and a departure towards opening up to the world for the artist.
