LATIFA POUYE

Born in Dakar in 1975, Latifa Pouye left her native country at birth to live in Central Africa and then France. It was only at the age of 20 that she was able to rediscover her native Senegal. This return to her roots marked a decisive turning point in her life and artistic career. Inspired by the life around her and the different cultures that influence her, she began her artistic career as a self-taught artist, exploring different techniques and styles, and developing her own artistic identity. 

In addition to her artistic career, Pouye is also actively involved in social and cultural projects abroad. She regularly organizes workshops and community projects, providing a platform for budding young artists to express their creativity.
