Kheraba Traorè
Mahamadou Kheraba Traoré, born June 6, 1987 in Velingara in the Kolda region of Senegal, is an artist and an animation film professor at the National School of the Arts in Dakar. Kheraba, as he is affectionately called, has been able to consolidate his talents in the Senegalese artistic landscape. His method of working with a simple and refined look hides his innate multifaceted imagination, coming from a family of multidisciplinary artists. His personal approach and the subject of his work is the daily life of children, in general, this little being is his source of inspiration. In his passion for children, he carries a readable fight in the majority of his art, which is the struggle against the exploitation of children and the promotion of their rights.
Curious and active, he is interested in everything. He discovered at a very young age his attraction to drawing, form and color. Over time, he discovered a fascinating universe that conformed to his ambitions. His technique was developed through intuition. He is a 2021 World Food Program grand prize winner.
He has participated in several individual and collective exhibitions, national and international.
